Jorge Joaquin Popoca Herrera is a software engineer and master in computer science with a passion for using technology to extend the frontier of human capacity. He believes in creating products that help society and inspire people to achieve the unthinkable. Currently working as a Full Stack software engineer and Tech Lead at Wizeline, Jorge has worked on multiple projects helping clients improve work pipelines with custom CRMs and CMS. His tech stack includes React, React Native, Node JS, MySQL, .Net, and AWS. Aside from his work, Jorge is also involved in various side projects at Wizeline. He helps the company with a React study group, daily Mindfulness sessions, and leads engineering communities. Prior to Wizeline, Jorge served as CEO at Crecelius, where he directed and developed multiple mobile video game projects in Unity for Android and iOS. He also worked as CTO and ASP.Net MVC Web developer for the cloud solution at 6sensemx. Jorge's education history includes a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technologies Engineering from the Universidad Panamericana. He has a diverse tech stack, including expertise in Software Engineering, AWS, NodeJS, Senior Software Engineering, MySQL, iOS, Mobile, React Native, Web, dotNET, and ASP.NET.
